We are committed to the safety and security of the children and teachers. Smoke detectors, fire alarms and sprinkler systems are present for emergency use. The entrance door has a magnetic lock which prevents unauthorized access to the school. Access is authorized by one of two methods, the intercom or by a data chip. This system is used by the parents and staff. An intercom system for all visitors requires visitors to receive a face to face greeting before being admitted into the school. The outdoor playgrounds are protected by a double set of fencing and locked gates.

Do children go outside every day? (read more)

Playgrounds are considered an outdoor classroom. In addition to running, jumping and climbing, there are trains planes and aeroplanes amongst other age appropriate outdoor dramatic play equipment. In addition teachers plan nature walks, picnics and other learning opportunities. Weather permitting, children play outside every day! All of our three, age specific playgrounds are equipped with an artificial turf surface/padding and certified as having a minimum of a five foot fall protection. This surface means that your children will not wait days for the mud to dry and can often go out onto the playground in the afternoon of a rainy morning.
